Salesforce Optimizer

The Salesforce Optimizer was a tool that was released over 3 years ago to help give Admins an insight into the performance and general health of their Org. Salesforce Optimizer evaluates our Salesforce instance to determine how our company uses Salesforce features, then generates concrete recommendations for how we can optimize feature usage, including ways to simplify customization and drive user adoption. Now is the perfect time to learn about Salesforce Optimizer. Salesforce optimizer is available in various edition (Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer) and available in Classic & Lightning Experience. This used to be in the form of a PDF download, but with the Summer ’20 release, an interactive App has been created.

The Optimizer runs for both sandbox and production environments, and it recommends improving the features, cleans up customization and reduces the complexity. This provides a better platform for Admins to ensure their Org is meeting best practices set by Salesforce. Salesforce Optimizer, a free, powerful, and simple tool that takes a snapshot of our Salesforce org and looks for potential problems in our implementation. Salesforce Optimizer gives a detailed report on more than 25 org metrics covering everything from storage, fields, custom code, custom layouts for objects, reports and dashboards, and much more.
